At Broadstones School, all pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). As part of our commitment to supporting every child, we provide all pupils with a healthy free school meal.
Our aim is to ensure that every pupil has the opportunity to achieve their full potential. Pupil Premium funding enables us to provide additional support that enhances learning, promotes wellbeing, and removes barriers to success.
We use Pupil Premium funding to:
- Deliver high-quality teaching through ongoing staff training, professional development and retention.
- Provide targeted academic support, including one-to-one and small group interventions tailored to individual needs.
- Address barriers to learning, including attendance, behaviour, communication, social and emotional wellbeing, and engagement.
- Offer a wide range of enrichment opportunities that support pupils’ personal development, confidence, independence, and life skills.
All interventions are carefully planned, monitored, and evaluated by our senior management and welfare team to ensure they have a positive impact and achieve personalised outcomes for each pupil. Regular reviews allow us to assess progress and ensure that funding is used effectively to meet the needs of our pupils.
At Broadstones School, we are committed to using Pupil Premium funding strategically to ensure every eligible pupil receives the support they need both academically and personally.
