Careers advice at school can have a significant impact on a pupil’s future success and happiness. It helps pupils understand their strengths and interests, and provides them with information on various career options and paths. This can help them make informed decisions about their education and career goals, leading to better job satisfaction and improved job prospects.
Careers Advisors can also direct pupils to potential opportunities and industries they may not have considered, and provide guidance on essential skills such as resume writing, interview techniques, and networking.
Our goal at Broadstones School is to allow pupils make the most of their potential and to help set them on a path towards a fulfilling and successful career. At Broadstones we have a Service Level Agreement with Stockport MBC, the Post 16 Coordinator provides information, advice and guidance to our Year 10 and 11 pupils.
